PROJECT: AMERICANA - A SUSTAINABLE APPAREL BOUTIQUE CONCEPT
As part of my Business Strategy course, I collaborated with a team to develop a comprehensive business plan for a hypothetical apparel boutique, Americana. Our concept focused on socially and environmentally responsible practices, showcasing Made in the U.S. apparel.
Through market research and analysis, we identified a target audience of women aged 35-50 in the middle-upper to upper-class income bracket. We developed a brand identity, merchandise assortment, and marketing strategy tailored to this demographic.
Our boutique concept prioritizes ethical sourcing, partnering with factories and companies that ensure fair wages and sustainable practices. We aimed to minimize environmental impact by reducing transportation costs and promoting local production.
This project allowed me to apply theoretical knowledge to a real-world scenario, exploring the challenges and opportunities in the fashion industry. I'm proud to showcase my work on Americana, a concept that combines style, sustainability, and social responsibility.
